Introducing Shangrao Gexian Mountain

According to historical county annals, Gexian Mountain was known as Yungang Mountain before the Han Dynasty. It was renamed Gexian Mountain, also known as Geshan, after Ge Xuan (later known as Gexianweng), a renowned Taoist priest, medical scientist, and founder of the Lingbao School of Taoism, practiced alchemy and ascended to heaven here during the first year of the Chiwu reign (238-251 AD) in the late Han Dynasty.
