Hualien Ji'an Township ｜ STARBUCKS Starbucks (Huilan Store)

Starbucks Hualien Huilan store is the first container store in Asia. The exterior of the building was also designed by master Kengo Kuma. The four-story building is made up of 29 stacked white containers. These containers are veteran containers that have been stationed at the docks of major cities around the world, such as New York, Baltimore, Marseille, and Barcelona!
The store retains the original appearance of the containers, using wood and white to create a high-quality environment, incorporating the bright colors of the Hualien Amis people, and presenting aboriginal elements in every corner of the store. Not only do the exterior containers have stories, the interior also integrates the local culture well!
The coffee at the Starbucks in Hualien Huilan is even better, and you can take beautiful photos there. It is one of my must-visit attractions in Hualien.
