Stunning the industry with natural and simple artistic atmosphere
The Garden of Forking Paths is located in Pan Village, Guanlu, Yi County, Huangshan, as the core area of the origin of Huizhou culture and Huizhou merchants in southern Anhui, just a step away from the World Heritage Site Xidi Hongcun. The hotel is located at the head of the ancient village, surrounded by hundreds of acres of rice fields, and can only be reached by a winding path. At the fork of the path, six buildings and courtyards seem to grow out of the ancient village.

⭕️|Design
The hotel name is derived from the novel of the same name by an Argentine writer, meaning to enter different times and spaces along the forking paths, full of endless contingency and possibility. The design team, under the guidance of the philosophical concept of "intersection, convergence, integration", boldly breaks through the design boundaries, integrating and intertwining the East and the West, the classical and the modern. The lobby is the Boya Hall, originally the site of the village ancestral hall. The designer interprets the structural principle of the melon column of the main hall of Baoguo Temple in Ningbo, forming a contemporary version of the new column style "bundled column and stacked beam", reconstructing the magnificent space in the ruins.

⭕️| Rooms
The homestay has a total of 16 rooms, distributed in various courtyards, with views of mountains, fields, and courtyards. The two buildings of Taoshe and Jiaxuan have a total of 11 rooms, with interior design featuring Turkish style, blending the elegance of Eastern classics with the simplicity of Western modernity. The two buildings of Xuetang and Wangchuan are typical Qing Dynasty Huizhou-style houses. On the basis of protecting and repairing the original buildings, including those exquisite carvings, bright and clean modern spaces are embedded inside.

⭕️ Dining
The restaurant is transformed from the original farmhouse courtyard, named "Jujube Tree Restaurant" because of the preserved jujube tree in the courtyard. The food is Huizhou cuisine that suits modern tastes, personally cooked by a private chef, including rare exclusive dishes. The natural ingredients mostly come from the store and the village itself, including rare exclusive dishes.
