Who says Huangshan is "expensive and tiring"? The three of us, college students, rushed up Huangshan in 3 days and 2 nights, spending a total of 2390 RMB, only 796 RMB per person. We stayed in a guesthouse at the foot of the mountain, used free trails, hiked up the mountain, rented a tent on the summit to watch the starry sky and sunrise, and even saved half on cable car fees. The scenery was amazing, and our wallets were safe!

📅 Itinerary: Light packing to reach the summit, money-saving hiking mode

🚄 Transportation: High-speed train to Huangshan North Station, second-class seat (average 150 RMB/person × 3 = 450 RMB), transfer to scenic area shuttle bus round trip 38 RMB/person, total 114 RMB

🏡 Accommodation:
- First night: Tangkou Town guesthouse triple room 150 RMB (50 RMB per person)
- Second night: Shared tent rental on Huangshan Bright Summit (one tent shared by three, rent 180 RMB, 60 RMB per person)

📍D1: Arrive at Huangshan North Station → take shuttle bus to Tangkou → check into guesthouse → afternoon free visit to the outskirts of Jade Valley (Lover’s Valley, just walk the beautiful stream section at the entrance) → eat Huizhou stinky tofu and small portion of stinky mandarin fish (120 RMB for three)
📍D2: Early start to enter the mountain! Walk up the front mountain trail (free route, about 3 hours, avoid Yuping cableway and save 90 RMB/person!) → pass Banshan Temple → Greeting Pine → set up tent at Bright Summit → shoot starry sky and watch sunset at night
📍D3: Get up at 5 AM! Watch Huangshan sunrise for free! Descend via West Sea Grand Canyon trail → take the one-way track train (student ticket 80 RMB/person) → exit at Yungu Temple, return trip
