Dawujian, located in Xifuquanrong Mountain Village, about 15 kilometers southwest of Shaoxing City, is known locally as "Tofujian." Driving, cycling, or hiking are all great options. Dawujian Mountain, over 300 meters above sea level, gets its name from the perpetual fog that blankets its summit. Autumn in Dawujian is a veritable paradise of vibrant colors. The Xiangshan Temple at the summit offers a panoramic view overlooking the beautiful scenery below.
What is different from other trails is that the long stretch of stairs up the mountain at Dawujian may make people suffer from "step phobia". Looking up from the bottom, you can't see the end of the stairs at a glance. The stairs, one step above another, extend endlessly upwards, as if there is no stopping point.
The subtropical monsoon climate makes it suitable for travel all year round and is a great place to enjoy autumn.
