Introduction: Huizhou West Lake is an urban shallow lake located in Huizhou City, Guangdong Province, People's Republic of China. It is a national key scenic spot and a national 5A tourist attraction of the People's Republic of China. Huizhou West Lake Scenic Area covers an area of ​​3.2 square kilometers, with a water area of ​​1.68 square kilometers. Its landscape consists of "Five Lakes, Six Bridges and Eighteen Scenic Spots". The name "West Lake" originated from the poems written by Su Shi when he was demoted to Huizhou by the imperial court in the Northern Song Dynasty. Huizhou West Lake also became famous due to the spread of Su Shi's poems. To this day, Huizhou West Lake still has relics related to Su Shi, such as Su Causeway, Xixin Bridge, and Wang Chaoyun's Tomb. Historically, Huizhou West Lake was once known as one of the three major west lakes in China together with Hangzhou West Lake and Yingzhou West Lake.
