In summer, Kerið Gígur in Iceland transforms into a vivid masterpiece of color and light. This ancient volcanic crater, part of the Golden Circle route, is about 3,000 years old and filled with a striking turquoise lake at its heart. The steep, red and orange volcanic walls contrast beautifully with the calm blue water and the green moss growing along the edges, creating a breathtaking natural palette. Visitors can walk around the rim or descend to the lake’s edge to feel the peaceful atmosphere surrounded by raw geological power.
