[Chiba/Ichihara] A sacred temple nestled in the mountains of Chiba * Shusse Kannon Yoroyama Rikkokuji Temple *

While driving along Prefectural Route 81, the red Nijūbashi Bridge (Kannonbashi Bridge) caught my eye!

Wondering what it was, I parked my car and crossed the bridge, where I discovered a temple called Shusse Kannon Yoroyama Rikkokuji!

I entered through the entrance with the thought of just stopping by for a bit, but that was a foolish idea lol. There were steep slopes, stairs, and dimly lit tunnels, and I wondered where I was heading!! (It felt like an adventure, and I was excited!)

It's quite a hidden spot, so it's a great place to stop by on a drive or short trip. I recommend wearing sneakers!!
