Genbikei Gorge is located in Ichinoseki City, about a 20-minute bus ride from Ichinoseki Station. After getting off the bus, you can reach the entrance to the scenic area with a short walk.

Genbikei Gorge is renowned for its unique rock formations and crystal-clear streams. In addition to the stunning scenery, Genbikei Gorge is famous for its dango (rice dumpling) shops! The dango is placed in a basket and sent across the stream to visitors via a pulley system, making for a fun and unique experience.
