If you visit Iguazu Falls, it is genuinely an experience of a lifetime. The power and beauty of the falls is breathtaking. Words can’t describe how amazing it truly is.

I wasn’t happy with just seeing the falls. I wanted to experience it too. Cue the Gran Aventura tour. This isn’t just a nice little cruise across the Iguazu River. No, this boat trip is fast and furious. And I loved it!

After taking a jeep tour, not too dissimilar to Jurassic Park, through the rainforest and down to the dock, it’s time to board the boat. This boat is rapid and will quickly zip along the river getting you up close to the many waterfalls that Iguazu is home to. It’s breathtaking views after break taking views. You’ll be at the point where you won’t know where to look with the beauty on display!

The real thrill is still to come. Everyone is handed waterproof bags, and trust me - you’ll need them. This isn’t a boat ride where you’ll get wet. This is a boat ride where you’ll get soaked! After a bit of suspense, the captain goes fill throttle into the waterfall and before you know it, you’re in amongst the cascade! It’s spectacular and awesome, and you’ll be screaming for more! Well, you’ll be screaming anyway!

During the excursion, you’ll end up under about 3 or 4 waterfalls. It’s a brilliant way to enjoy Iguazu Falls and it truly is an adventure of a lifetime.
