Beautiful Scenery from a Drive on Iki Island, Nagasaki Prefecture!

If you visit Iki Island, be sure to rent a car and enjoy a scenic drive! Iki Island is about the same size as Miyako Island in Okinawa Prefecture. Driving around the island takes approximately two hours. If you have the time, I highly recommend exploring the island by car!

Iki Island is rich in nature, with both ocean and mountains. Driving along the coastline offers breathtaking views of the sea, while traveling inland reveals lush greenery with mountains and rice fields. One of the straight roads inland reminded me of Hokkaido—it was truly picturesque!

Additionally, I loved the nostalgic streets featuring renovated traditional houses. The charming alleys added a unique touch to the experience.
