Ladakh road trip - The adventure of a lifetime

For me, the Ladakh road trip is the adventure of a lifetime. Known for its rugged mountains, serene monasteries, and crystal-clear lakes, Ladakh is the perfect destination for road trip enthusiasts.

Here’s my suggested itinerary:

Day 1: Fly to Delhi
Day 2: Early morning flight to Leh. Take time to rest and acclimate to the high altitude to avoid acute mountain sickness. Take a slow walk around the town center.
Day 3: Explore Leh and the nearby monasteries.
Day 4: Leh - Khardung-La Pass - Nubra Valley
Day 5: Nubra Valley - Turtuk Village - Nubra Valley
Day 6: Nubra Valley - Pangong Lake
Day 7: Pangong Lake - Changla Pass - Leh
Day 8: Leh - Tso Moriri Lake (or go directly from Pangong to Tso Moriri to save time—the road is beautiful).
Day 9: Tso Moriri - Tanglang La Pass - Leh
Day 10: Fly out from Leh.

The Ladakh road trip offers countless opportunities for breathtaking photography. Be sure to bring a good camera and plenty of memory cards! You can also use a drone (flycam) in certain spots for stunning aerial shots.
