Legal Money Washing? Visit Sanko Inari Shrine in Inuyama for Wealth and Good Fortune.

After exploring Inuyama Castle, don’t rush to leave! Just below the ancient castle lies a vibrant red shrine that holds the secret to "legal money washing"—the mystical "Money Washing Pond" at Sanko Inari Shrine ✨!

This shrine is dedicated to Inari, the deity of commerce and bountiful harvests. What makes it special is the sacred spring within the shrine. Legend has it that if you wash coins in the pond and carefully keep them, your financial luck will flourish! I personally washed a coin and prayed for my travel funds to double. While I didn’t win the lottery the next day 🤣, I did manage to snag some great discount tickets.

The red torii tunnel is also a popular photo spot, stretching all the way to the fox deity statue. The atmosphere is both sacred and enchanting. I highly recommend visiting with a sincere heart and a cheerful spirit to "legally wash money" and make wishes for prosperity.
