[Ishigaki Island] Japan's southernmost planetarium

📍 Ishigaki Island Hoshinoumi Planetarium, Ishigaki Island This is the southernmost planetarium in Japan, located at the Euglena Ishigaki Port Remote Island Terminal, the gateway between Ishigaki Island and the remote islands. In fact, the Yaeyama Islands are home to the Iriomote-Ishigaki National Park, Japan's first starry sky conservation area. On clear nights with little moonlight, a wonderful starry sky spreads out. This planetarium also provides an explanation of the sky of the Yaeyama Islands! The screening times of the works are set and are shown several times a day (the works vary depending on the time of day). We were longing for the starry island, so we saw the work by with HY, but when we came to this planetarium, we realized again that the starry sky of Ishigaki Island is very wonderful. Also, HY's songs were so wonderful that we listened to them all the time on the way home. This planetarium has 46 seats (including pair seats) in a 9m dome. (Reclining seats💺)

All seats are unreserved and admission is announced 10 minutes before the screening💁♀️

The explanation was very easy to understand, so it's a recommended spot for rainy days or when you have a little time!! !

The screening time is about 30 minutes
