Ishigaki Island is part of the Yaeyama Islands in Okinawa Prefecture, Japan, known for its beautiful beaches, rich marine life, and unique Ryukyu culture. What particularly amazed me on this trip was Kabira Bay, where the water displays a dreamy gradient of blue. Taking a glass-bottom boat to view the underwater corals and tropical fish truly made me appreciate the wonders of nature. Besides the seascape, the local Ishigaki beef is a must-try delicacy, with its melt-in-your-mouth texture leaving a lasting impression. Additionally, I participated in snorkeling activities, getting a close-up view of the colorful coral reefs and even having the fortune to see sea turtles swimming leisurely. The relaxed atmosphere and warm residents of Ishigaki Island made this trip incredibly healing, making it an ideal destination for those looking to unwind.
