Istanbul is a must-visit as the only city lying on both Europe and Asia and as a city of exceptional history, culture and architectural beauty.

The city built on seven hills has lots of hidden gems but even for a short stay, the main tourist attractions themselves are enchanting and spectacular.

For shopping lovers, the Bazaars are great as well. Would also recommend visiting some of the mosques as they all have very intricate art and designs.

Also at some point, do take a stroll on the Galata bridge at sunset time to appreciate how the waterways shape the city. And while you’re there tuck into a fish sandwich (Balik Ekmek), a local’s street food favourite, sold from boats anchored on the Golden Horn.
