【Istanbul】Heybeliada Island: a holiday resort, 45 minutes by boat

When you come to Istanbul, you must visit the outlying islands not far from the city. This time the recommendation is Heybeliada Island. It is also one of the Princes Islands. It's a very special island. It used to be a place where princes of the Ottoman Empire were exiled. Now it has become a holiday resort for locals.
This island is not very commercialized and there are basically no people in many places on the island, so even the air is free. It is recommended to rent a bicycle and ride around the island. The shade of trees, sea breeze, tranquility, blue sea, blue sky and high concentration of negative ion oxygen create a beautiful picture of paradise on earth. Half of the island has no houses, while the other half has some well-preserved wooden buildings. There are also some remains of Ottoman watchtowers.
Transportation: Buy a ticket at Bostanci Pier in the Asian area and take a boat, which takes 45 minutes.
