I visited the Hagia Sophia during a solo trip to Istanbul, and despite some areas being closed for renovation, it was still an unforgettable experience.

The sheer grandeur of the building, along with its stunning decorations, left me in awe. The intricate mosaics, the vast dome, and the blend of Christian and Islamic architecture make it a unique site.

Even though I couldn’t see everything due to ongoing renovations, I could still appreciate the historical and cultural significance of the place. It’s definitely worth a visit.
