Sunshine & Street Life

#summervacay Walking around Istanbul during the day is such a vibe. The city is buzzing, street vendors shouting, fresh simit smells in the air, and pigeons everywhere (they run the town, let’s be real). I started near Sultanahmet and just wandered, no map, no rush, just vibes.

Everywhere you look, there’s something cool, giant mosques, cute cafes, old stone streets, and colorful markets. The Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia hit different in the daylight, so much detail you miss at night. Plus, the light bouncing off the domes? Chef’s kiss.

Stopped for Turkish tea in a random courtyard, then grabbed a doner wrap from a street stall, simple but soooo good. People-watching here is next level too. Locals, tourists, vendors, kids chasing pigeons, it’s all happening at once.

Istanbul in the sun just feels warm, alive, and full of character. It’s perfect for slow exploring and soaking in the culture. Trust me, you don’t need a plan, just wander and let the city pull you in.
