Two palaces — two souls of Istanbul

In Istanbul, there are two palaces, each reflecting a different heartbeat of the city.

🌙 Topkapi — the East.
Here, the whispers of sultans still linger, the Harem holds stories of power and beauty, and the gardens open to the Bosphorus.
It is about tradition, spirituality, and hidden intrigue.

🌍 Dolmabahçe — the West.

Crystal chandeliers, marble, silk, and architecture inspired by Europe.
It is about grandeur, diplomatic receptions, and elegance that dazzles.
Photography is forbidden inside — making the experience more intimate, as you live it instead of capturing it.

💫 My tips:
— At Topkapi: visit the Harem and don’t miss the terraces overlooking the sea.
— At Dolmabahçe: arrive early and linger in the gardens by the water.

For me, these palaces are like two sides of a woman:
one — mysterious, filled with eastern magic,
the other — radiant, elegant, confident in her beauty.
