Sunset and Tea from Pierre Loti hill

Named after a French writer who spent his live in this hill, Pierre Loti Hill is one of the seven hills in Istanbul.

It is just a bus ride away from Eminonu, and also accessible by metro line, you can have a nice view of Istanbul from this hill.

As you arrives at the foothill, you may take the funicular up the hill, using Istanbulkart.

Do note that there might be a 30 minutes to 1 hour queue for the furnicular so do plan accordingly if you would like to stay for the sunset.

Cafes and stalls are available on top of the hill, you can have “cay” while observing the sunset.

Once finish visiting, you may also stop by at the nearby Eyup Sultan mosque for a visit there.
