Ito K's House Ito Onsen: A stay surrounded by nostalgia and warmth, nestled alongside the murmuring of a river
A seven-minute walk from Ito Station, K's House Ito Onsen is a renovated historic inn nestled alongside the Matsukawa River. Entering the stately wooden building, guests are greeted by tatami-floored private rooms, a shared lounge, and charming corridors, evoking a sense of "good old Japanese lodging" with every step.
At night, soaking in the 100% natural hot spring water, drawn directly from the source, allowed the fatigue of travel to slowly melt away.
Sleeping on tatami mats and waking to the tranquility of the riverside in the morning, truly fulfilled my traveler's spirit.
The friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere of this traditional Japanese hotel made for a relaxing stay. I was also surprised by the flexible self-catering environment and great value for money, making my two-day stay a spiritual retreat.
