Sakurai Futamigaura Meoto Iwa is a beautiful spot located in Itoshima, not far from Fukuoka. It has been selected as one of the '100 Best Beaches in Japan' and '100 Best Sunsets in Japan'!
Sakurai Futamigaura Meoto Iwa features a giant rock opposite a white torii gate. The rock, resembling a couple leaning on each other, is located about 150 meters offshore and is connected by a sacred rope, hence the name 'Meoto Iwa' or 'Married Couple Rocks'. It attracts couples and married people who come to pray for a smooth love life and a long-lasting relationship! 👩❤️👨 It is definitely a must-see spot when visiting Itoshima!
