Itoshima: White Torii, Jellyfish Sea & Seafood Delights! ☀️⛩️

#summervacay
Despite it being the rainy season in Northern Kyushu in June, I got lucky! The day I set off for Itoshima was completely rain-free, which was a huge relief and brightened my spirits.

Here's how I made the most of my trip:

I caught the 8:58 AM bus from Hakata Bus Terminal to Futamigaura (二見浦). The journey was about an hour, and luckily, the bus schedule (as shown in your photo 10) made planning easy.

Right after getting off at Futamigaura, I was greeted by the iconic white Torii gate and Meoto Iwa (Husband and Wife Rocks). It was such a picturesque sight, with the "jellyfish sea" living up to its name with incredibly clear, almost translucent water.

I then headed to Kaisen-do (海鲜堂), which opens at 11:00 AM. I recommend going straight there to queue up after you've finished snapping photos at Meoto Iwa. Make sure to snag a window seat for the best views!

Just a short walk further from Kaisen-do, the beach itself was also perfect for photos.

As for the swings and pink "anywhere door," I noted that you'd need to take a bus to get to those spots, as they're a bit further out.

It was a fantastic day exploring Itoshima, a true gem with stunning coastal views and delicious food!
