Shiraito Falls - The water flows like fine white threads.

Shiraito Falls is located on the Itoshima Peninsula, near the upper reaches of the Kawatsuki River. Situated at an altitude of 900 meters on the mid-slope of Mt. Haginoyama, it is a designated scenic spot in Fukuoka Prefecture. With a height difference of about 24 meters, the waterfall lives up to its name as the water flows like fine white threads, creating a beautiful sight. In the summer, the splashing water is refreshing and invigorating, making it a place full of negative ions and nature, and a well-known attraction.
Transportation: Take the community bus from JR Chikuhi Line 'Maebaru' Station to 'Shiraito' stop, then walk for about 25 minutes.
