Itoshima's seascape is absolutely stunning, making it the place I most want to revisit during this trip. The Sakurai Futamiura Meotoi Rocks are tranquil and perfect for taking photos. There are many hidden gem restaurants nearby, perfect for a leisurely stroll after a meal. If you're looking for a place to avoid the crowds and enjoy the soothing seascape, Itoshima is highly recommended!

Transportation and Accommodation Tips

- SEKIYA RESORT Terrace Midohara Ryokan is best enjoyed by car, as parking is available. If you don't have a car, it's recommended to book a shuttle bus or taxi service in advance.

- Most attractions are accessible by car/bus. Purchasing a Kyushu region one-day transportation pass is highly recommended to save time and transportation costs.

Food Recommendations

- Beppu and Itoshima areas have many seafood and local eateries. On Itoshima, the seafood rice bowls, grilled oysters, and handmade desserts are must-try dishes. Cafes generally have ocean-view seating, perfect for Instagram-worthy photos!
