[Hometown of the Gods] Izumo Taisha Shrine ⛩🌿✨

I went to Izumo Taisha Shrine, famous as "Japan's No. 1 shrine for matchmaking"! ✨🌊⛩ It's a one-of-a-kind scenic spot where nature and a sacred atmosphere blend together. From the moment you pass through the torii gate, you will feel as if you have stepped into a different world...😌✨

🏞 Attractions & Recommended Information

🌞 Recommended Seasons
• Spring (March-May)🌸: Beautiful cherry blossoms and fresh greenery & comfortable climate
• Autumn (September-November)🍁: Enjoy the autumn leaves, and in Kamiaritsuki (October) gods from all over the country gather
• Winter (December-February)❄️: The snow-covered shrine is fantastic✨ But it's cold, so take precautions against the cold!
• Summer (June-August)🌞: The atmosphere is great, but it's hot💦 Parasols and water are a must! 🥤

⚠️ On your way back, you should take the "middle street"!
After visiting the worship hall, if you go back from the side street instead of going through the middle road (Shinmon-dori), you will end up taking a really long detour 😂💨 If you're going all the way, I recommend walking back on the road in front to make it smoother!

🎭 The shopping street in front of Izumo Taisha is also fun!
The approach to the shrine is lined with shops selling Izumo soba, a specialty of Izumo, and matchmaking sweets, making it perfect for eating while walking around 🍡💕 There are also plenty of cute miscellaneous goods and amulets, so even just walking around is exciting! 😆✨ If you enjoy choosing souvenirs, be sure to stop by!

Izumo Taisha, where myths live, is a power spot where nature and holiness are woven together. I was healed by the quiet flow of time and the magnificent scenery...😌💙
