I'd already heard of Izumo Tai

I'd already heard of Izumo Taisha Shrine, and the opportunity to visit it on this trip was truly worthwhile! With a history stretching back a long time, Izumo Taisha Shrine is one of Japan's oldest shrines and the only one to be designated a "taisha." Not only is it a significant shrine in Japan, it's also a site steeped in mythology and history, attracting numerous devotees and tourists.
