Outside of Shimane Prefecture, it is called Kannazuki because all the gods gather at Izumo Taisha.
It seems that gods from all over the country gather here and hold a meeting.
In the old days, it was not as easy to travel to Izumo Taisha as it is today, so instead, the local gods would bring prayers to Izumo Taisha and hold a meeting to decide how to grant everyone's prayers.

I came from Osaka to give my daily thanks to those gods.
I was also able to receive a night-time prayer that is only held at this time of year, and I am grateful to have been able to officially worship at a sacred place with worshippers from all over Japan.
If you take some sand from Inasa Beach and bring it to the shrine, you can receive the blessed sand.
It is said that it is good to place that at the demon gate of your home.
