The oldest shrine in Japan! Izumo Taisha

Izumo Taisha Shrine is located in Izumo City, Shimane Prefecture.
The nearest subway is Izumo Taisha Shrine.
It is recommended to take the subway from Tottori Daisen or take the bus from Hiroshima.
It takes about 15 minutes to walk from the subway station.

Here is Japan's largest shimenawa (not in the shrine but in the Kagura Hall).
It is super spectacular when you see it in person! The people in the group photo become super small🤣

It is said that gods from all over Japan will come here to hold a meeting every October! !
The main deity worshipped is Okuninushi, which is also full of mystery. There are statues and story explanations specially made at the entrance~
