I finally had the opportunity to visit Japan's renowned sacred site for forging connections - Izumo Taisha. Walking along the approach path, flanked by pine trees, the atmosphere was solemn and serene. The main hall, with its ancient and majestic architecture, inspired a deep sense of reverence. The most awe-inspiring sight was the enormous sacred rope inside the Kaguraden, symbolizing the profound bonds between people. After paying my respects, I purchased a goshuin (temple stamp) and omamori (amulet) to carry blessings with me. Following the unique "two bows, four claps, one bow" ritual, I sincerely prayed for connections and peace. This journey allowed me to experience a sense of divinity and tranquility, leaving me with precious memories.
