Introducing a place with cute pink sandstone buildings in the famous Pink City of India!
This is an Indian palace, and is one of the places you should definitely stop by if you go to India. If you arrive in the capital, Delhi, it is a city on the way to the Taj Mahal, so please get off the train🙆♀️
We took a photo of Hawa Mahal from this cafe↓The Tattoo Cafe & Lounge___________________

🚖Location: India🇮🇳Jaipur💰Admission: 200 Indian rupees (346 yen)⏳Viewing time: ? I haven't been inside so I don't know.
📝Honest Review P O I N T ✔︎ ・There is no air conditioning inside the building・It looks surprisingly thin from the side・The Pink City gets me excited
Hawa Mahal is a magnificent palace in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. It was built in 1799 by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh 🕌
Hawa Mahal, which means "Palace of the Winds", is characterized by its airy architectural style and impressive latticed facade with many small windows.
The building is a five-storey pyramidal structure with 953 small windows (jaali) on the exterior, designed to allow the wind to flow in through them 🥺
This design was intended to allow the women inside the palace to see what was going on outside while being invisible to the outside world. It's hard to describe how male superiority is seen.
The entire building is made of pink sandstone, which is one of the reasons why Jaipur is known as the "Pink City". Hawa Mahal is a unique building that combines elements of Indian Mughal and Rajput architecture.
You can pay to enter the building (for foreigners), but reading traveler articles, there are mixed opinions, so we didn't go in and just took photos while having tea at the cafe in front.
To tell the truth, the temperature in India when we were here was over 40 degrees...🫠 I wanted to enter Hawa Mahal too. It's not about money, it's just that there's no air conditioning, so it's really hot! I think it was already painful to travel in a rickshaw (a taxi with no windows), so I couldn't stand it anymore and went to a place with air conditioning. I think it's a good idea to consider the temperature before entering 🙆♀️
