Hawa Mahal, Jaipur, India, Palace of Winds ✨

#TravelEco

I visited Hawa Mahal in Jaipur. It is one of the most memorable places in my India trip. It is known as the “Palace of Winds” because it has 953 small windows that allow the wind to blow through all the time. The building is made of pink sandstone. It stands out with its beautiful Rajput and Mughal architecture. Just seeing the front makes my heart beat.

That day, I went alone but I was not lonely at all because I hired a local guide who was good at explaining and taking great photos. I wore a pink sari and walked around the palace. People around there complimented me. Plus, the photos came out as beautiful as posters. If you want a full photo angle, I recommend going up to a cafe on the opposite side, such as Wind View Café, to get a panoramic view of the palace.

If anyone comes to Jaipur, you really must not miss this place. In addition to being a very famous landmark, it is also so beautiful that words cannot describe it. You have to see it with your own eyes to understand why Hawa Mahal is one of the wonders of India.
