Odawara City (小田原), a city on the Sagami Bay
was the base of the samurai era in the Edo period, making
Odawara Castle the main attraction. The
surrounding shops and buildings are retro-styled.
Many people overlook Odawara City even though
it is next to Hakone City and not far from
Kamakura City. It is also one of the 100
places where you can see Mount Fuji. I would like to
recommend that you go see Fuji at Soga Bairin Park (曽我梅林), the plum blossom garden of Loei Osu City.
