Weekend walk with kids, 1.5 hours from Hangzhou, strolling around Yanzhou Ancient City

I took my kids to my grandmother's house in Hangzhou for a few days. I took my family to Yanzhou Ancient City for a half-day tour on the weekend. It only takes 1.5 hours to get there from downtown Hangzhou.

Looking at thousands of ancient towns, I was still attracted by the quaint town of Jiande, with white walls and black tiles, and many old buildings preserved, with a strong cultural atmosphere.

There are few tourists, but many delicious foods. It is a slow and leisurely time, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. It is perfect for bringing the elderly and children to visit.

You can eat and walk at the same time, and enjoy a leisurely and comfortable time!
Jiande tofu buns are big and delicious, 3💰 each on the main street
There are also Yanzhou sesame cakes, Sandu glutinous rice cakes, stinky tofu corn cakes, jar bean cakes, scallion pork sesame cakes, etc., all of which are local specialties. Every bite is a great satisfaction for the taste buds😋

We also took a rowing boat on the Yudai River. I really recommend everyone to take a ride and experience the poetic enjoyment of "the boat is walking on the water and the people are swimming in the painting"!

In the evening, the afterglow of the setting sun shines on the ancient town, making it golden and beautiful. As the lights come on, the ancient town shows a different kind of charm. We wander around until dark before returning!
