First of all, Guangyuan's location is close to the high-speed rail station, just a one-kilometer walk away. Perhaps because of its proximity, there aren't many restaurants or local residents nearby, but the small eatery nearby is quite affordable. A large bowl of rice noodles costs 8 yuan (3 taels per person, local currency). The hotel also offers dining options, so I think the prices are reasonable.
It's within a reasonable range, but definitely more expensive than smaller restaurants outside. You can also head a bit further to the city center, where there are more restaurants. The hotel breakfast selection is quite extensive and generally satisfactory.
Parking is also generally not a problem; there's a large parking lot behind the hotel.
The room (superior king) is large and has a bathtub. I think the bed's firmness is acceptable, and they also provide bathrobes.
Coffee and tea are free. However, I think the pillows should be two buckwheat ones; otherwise, having four identical pillows doesn't make sense. The hotel provides two pillows per person so guests can choose, and it's possible they needed to request them separately.
Also, the bathroom's exhaust isn't very good. At least the one I had wasn't very good. It was worse than not running, as it had a foul smell. I have pictures of the configuration, and it's quite good.
There's a supermarket and a KTV on the first floor. Outside is a hot spring, and next to it is the Loutian Tea House entertainment venue. There's also a children's playground inside. It's absolutely perfect for a family trip, hahaha. There's also a heated swimming pool next to the hot spring, which is also very nice. There's a "small fish pond" at the very edge, hahaha. When you soak in it, there will be a lot of raindrops pecking at you. I guess this is what people call fish therapy, hahaha. After the hot spring and fish therapy, you can go directly to the locker room with showers.
