In Jiangkou County, Tongren City, Guizhou Province, in southwest China, lies a breathtaking natural treasure—Yamugou. This is not only an unpolluted land, but also a precious gift from nature to mankind. Today, let's explore this magical place together!
[Attraction Introduction]
Yamugou Scenic Area is famous for its unique karst landform. The whole scenic area is covered by dense virgin forest, with streams running through the forest, forming a series of spectacular and exquisite waterfalls. As you walk along the valley, you will encounter waterfalls of various shapes and sizes. The most famous is the "Yunu Waterfall," which is majestic and magnificent. The "Longxu Waterfall" is famous for its long, silky water flow, giving people a gentle and delicate feeling. In addition, there are many naturally formed stone caves and strange rocks waiting for explorers to discover.
[Itinerary Suggestions]
Morning: Depart from Tongren City (self-drive or chartered car), and you can reach your destination in about 1 hour. Upon arrival, first visit the visitor service center to get a map and learn about the open areas of the day.
Noon: Taste local specialties, such as sour soup fish and Miao bacon, to experience authentic flavors.
Afternoon: Start hiking. It is recommended to wear comfortable sports shoes and bring enough drinking water. It takes about 3–4 hours to visit the main attractions.
Evening: Return to Tongren City or choose to stay in a nearby homestay and enjoy a quiet night.
