Wintry Views on a Loop around the Shijian Reservoir in Xinhui, China

It is winter time and the bald cypress of Xinhui have turned red. In the Shijian Reservoir, there is a loop walk around the waters showing beautiful views of a nature fused with human footprints. The walk takes about 50 minutes and there is a tea house serving xinhui’s famous dried orange peel in tea. It is a wonderful experience to be amidst China’s nature.

It is advised to call a car to take you there and expect the return ride may not come immediately. It is only about 20 minutes of a private car ride from Xinhui proper. No admission fee is charged. #xinhui #china #jiangmen #foliage #reservoir
