Purchase a ticket 🎫 in advance, navigate to Shanzui Port ⛵, where there is a parking lot 🅿.
🚢 Enter the waiting hall to validate your ticket and board the ferry. After a 40-minute ride, you'll arrive at Xiachuan Island Pier. From there, take a bus 🚌 for 20 minutes to the entrance of the scenic area. After validating your ticket, the homestay owner will pick you up and drive you to the hotel for check-in.
🏨 We stayed in a sea-view room, with the beach just downstairs. There are many restaurants nearby, so you can check out their menus and the day's fresh seafood before deciding where to eat. It's said that the island's restaurants have their own fishing boats for fresh catches. Personally, I found the seafood there to be exceptionally fresh and sweet. If you don't feel like walking, you can even ask the homestay owner to drive you to the restaurant—such great service!
