Feiniao Collection Zao Xue Jia Yin is located in Yanxia Mountain Residence, Shimen Town, Jiangshan City, Quzhou, Zhejiang Province, backed by the magnificent Jianglang Mountain and facing thousands of acres of rice fields, about 31 km from the city center. There is no hustle and bustle of traffic here, only the natural scenery of mountains and rice waves. Whether you are exploring the secret places of western Zhejiang by car, or sitting quietly on the balcony enjoying the sunset over the fields, this is the perfect choice for escaping the city.
The homestay was built by the well-known designer Shuhei Aoyama, with the core concept of "Zao Xue spirit" (derived from "Zhuangzi Zhi Bei You"), perfectly integrating the tranquility of the art museum with the wildness of the mountain residence. Eleven family courtyards of varying heights create a private space, and each window is like a dynamic picture frame—wake up in the morning and open the window to see the mountains, and lie down at night to listen to the rain and the fragrance of rice. The aesthetic exhibition hall in the public area displays contemporary art paintings, and the corners of the long corridor are dialogues between light, shadow, and nature, as if living in a "breathable art museum."
The hotel has only 14 rooms, divided into 8 room types, with an area of 40m and up, each with an independent courtyard design. The bedroom and bathroom are separated into wet and dry areas, and the bathtub is set by the window, with rice fields and distant mountains as the background when taking a bath.
