Gou Lan Yao Village! (689)

Gou Lan Yao Village is located in Lanxi Yao Ethnic Township, Jiangyong County, Yongzhou City, Hunan Province. It is the settlement of the Gou Lan Yao, one of the "Four Major Yao" ethnic groups in Jiangyong County.
It was first built in the Ming Dynasty and retains more than 300 residential buildings from the Ming and Qing dynasties. There are many small landscapes such as community altars, dance and singing stages, pavilions, bridges, etc.
There are large buildings like Panwang Temple, Xianggong Temple, Shuilong Temple and Guan Gong Temple. Gou Lan Yao Village also has a unique "Mud Washing Festival" folk custom!
In 2019, it was announced by the State Council as the eighth batch of national key cultural relics protection units!
It was once the filming location for Hunan TV’s variety show “Where Are We Going, Dad?”!
In 2024, it was selected as the first batch of "Hunan Province Micro-Short Drama Shooting Locations"!
It is a national AAA-level scenic spot!
