Hongye Valley is located in Jiaohe, Jilin Province. It is a valley in the Laoye Mountains, a branch of the Changbai Mountains. It is named after the red leaves that cover the mountains in fall and is a famous fall foliage destination in Northeast China. From late September to mid-October, the valley is a colorful wonderland that attracts countless photographers and tourists.
Transportation
1. By air: Fly to Changchun Longjia International Airport, then take a long-distance bus or train to Jiaohe, and transfer to local transportation to Hongye Valley.
2. By train: Take a train to Jiaohe Station, then take a taxi or bus to Hongye Valley.
3. By bus: Take a long-distance bus from Changchun or Jilin to Jiaohe, then transfer to local transportation to Hongye Valley.
4. By car: Drive along National Highway 302 or the Changchun–Jilin Expressway to Jiaohe, then follow the navigation to Hongye Valley.

Day 1: Arrive in Jiaohe, check in to a hotel, and rest.
Day 2: Visit Hongye Valley in the morning and spend the day exploring and taking photos.
