There is no shuttle bus between the three attractions‼️ The official statement says it has been canceled.

Taxi from downtown to Jiayuguan Fortress costs 10-15 yuan, easy to get✔️

Taxi from Jiayuguan Fortress to Xuanbi Great Wall, 8 km, 20 yuan, available✔️

Taxi from Xuanbi Great Wall to First Pier, 13 km, 30 yuan, hard to get✔️

From First Pier back to downtown, good luck🙅‍♂️🙅‍♂️

It’s very hard to get a taxi at First Pier, and at this time you are 7-8 km away from downtown in a remote area.

✅Keep trying to call a taxi;
(It’s possible to get one in peak season, but almost impossible in off-season💔)

✅All cars parked at the entrance are usually booked by others; you can ask if they are willing to take you back to downtown, but you might get overcharged;

✅Directly stop a self-driving tourist car and ask if they can give you a ride back, offering some fare;

If none of these work, after visiting the last attraction, it will be around 5 or 6 pm, and no car will be available to return to downtown, which is truly desperate😩

🔸Self-driving

✅Parking at Jiayuguan Fortress navigation: Jiayuguan Northwest Renjia Inn
Nearby parking costs 10 yuan per time, no need to go to the visitor center, go directly to the ticket gate

✅First Pier and Xuanbi Great Wall, park normally at the scenic area parking lots, both 10 yuan per time

🔸Charter car
There may be charter car services at the station, 💰140-200 yuan

✅If you are in a group, this is the best option, very convenient, you can leave your luggage in the car, and after visiting, you can be directly sent to the train station or hotel

❌Not suitable for solo travelers, budget travelers, or those seeking cost-effectiveness
Or if you are at the station, just wait for someone to share a charter car with you to the three attractions, it depends on luck😮‍💨

Warning 2⃣️:
From the visitor center, you need to take a sightseeing bus to the ticket gate to enter Jiayuguan Fortress Scenic Area. Although the sightseeing bus fee is no longer charged, the waiting time is long😫
♦️Solution:

🌟Buy tickets online in advance and go directly to the ticket gate
1. Taxi: Navigate to Jiayuguan Great Wall Cultural Tourism Scenic Area Ticket Gate or Northwest Renjia Inn on Shuangyong Road, then walk a short distance to the ticket gate to enter

2. Bus: Take bus route 4 directly to the terminal station

3. Self-driving: Navigate to Sheng Shifu White Cut Chicken

🌟Tickets that must be bought at the visitor center:

1⃣️Discounted half-price tickets for students, military personnel, etc.
2⃣️Tickets purchased separately for First Pier or Xuanbi Great Wall, both cost 💰21 yuan

If you need these tickets, you must buy them at the visitor center and then queue for the sightseeing bus to enter the scenic area.
