After one night of frost, thousands of pear trees blossomed, with branches and twigs covered with icy skin. The white flowers bloom on the branches, like snow but not snow, like a dream, as if they are flowers scattered by the God of Winter, and each piece condenses the poetry of nature.

The jade trees are covered with silver, and the jade branches are wrapped with white silk. Walking through it, it is quiet and sacred, and the soul seems to be cleansed by this flawless scenery. We were so lucky that we chose Jilin for our spontaneous trip and saw the four-star rime flowers in one go.

There is no airport in Jilin, but the high-speed rail is very convenient. I took a taxi from the train station and headed straight to Xiaowusong Island, also known as Wanlu Yinsi. It was a 40-minute ride. As soon as I got off the car, I was really fascinated by the natural beauty. There really is such a fairyland on earth.

The unique rime in Jilin is due to the hot water released by the Fengman Hydropower Station in the upper reaches of the Songhua River. The rime flowers found in other places are really unsurpassed. Moreover, the river water in Jilin is flowing in winter and will not freeze❄️.

There is no entrance fee here. In addition to enjoying the rime, you can also ride horses, hug snow foxes, which are snow-white, and dog-pulled sleds😀😀
The weather today was not the best, but it was sunny and not cold. I played outside for the whole morning and had a great time.

If you have enough time, you can also take bus No. 33 from the train station and get off at Tongda Road Station. It will take about 50 minutes.
