When it comes to Portuguese cuisine in Macau, most people might think of Albergue 1601, Portofino, A Lorcha, or even O Moinho. However, I’ve never heard anyone mention Three Sardines.
Three Sardines is a visual treat from the entrance to every corner inside, making it a perfect spot for photos. The restaurant spans two floors, with the upper level resembling a mini exhibition hall adorned with unique pictures and aviation items collected by the owner. Upstairs feels more like a bar, with a tree suspended in the middle, adding a whimsical touch to the entire space.
Owned by the same group as Albergue 1601, the quality of Portuguese dishes here is undoubtedly top-notch. A must-try is the Baby Sardine.
If you’re in the mood for drinks, this place won’t disappoint either. They offer a wide selection of cocktails and a variety of specialty beers. Whether you’re here to enjoy a drink or have a lively chat with friends, you can’t go wrong.
