If you are planning a weekend trip to Jinan, here is a guide for you! Take a high-speed train from Qingdao to Jinan East, which takes only 1.5 hours. It is very convenient.
📍Accommodation Recommendations
Near Quancheng Square: Convenient transportation, many attractions nearby, and a wide range of shopping and dining options. For example, InterContinental Jinan City Center, where you can enjoy the beautiful views of Quancheng Square and the moat; Atour S Hotel Jinan Baotu Spring, where you can enjoy the view of Quancheng Square from the window.
Near Daming Lake: Beautiful environment and a chance to experience the old Jinan style. For example, Jinan Ziyue Minghu Hotel, located by Daming Lake, with a strong Chinese-style atmosphere.
📍Attractions
Day 1
Morning: After arriving in Jinan, head to Baotu Spring Park to visit Baotu Spring and admire the spectacular sight of the three springs of the "First Spring under Heaven" gushing out.
Afternoon: From Baotu Spring, walk along the moat to Black Tiger Spring to feel the majestic momentum of the spring water, and you can also taste the spring water. Then head to Liberation Pavilion, one of the landmarks of Jinan and one of the patriotic education bases in Jinan.
Evening: Head to Kuanhouli to taste a variety of delicacies and snacks. After dinner, head to Daming Lake Scenic Area to enjoy the splendid night view of Chaoran Tower.

Specialty dishes: Jiu Zhuan Da Chang, Sweet and Sour Carp, Braised Sea Cucumber with Scallion, and other classic Shandong dishes are worth a try; also, Ba Zi Rou, which is fatty but not greasy, soft, and delicious.
Snacks: Try the beef pie from Mu De Lao Zhou Jia Niu Rou Shao Bing, the oil swirl from You Xuan Zhang, the sugar oil stick from Sun Jia Tang You Tiao, and other specialty snacks.
