Li Bai did not deceive me, I love this small city in southern Anhui more than Hongcun

Just because of the line "We never tire of looking at each other, only Mount Jingting and I"
I embarked on a journey to Xuancheng, a city from Li Bai's writings.
This two-day, one-night travel guide is based on my actual experience.

Day 1: Xuan Paper Museum → Moonlight Bay Scenic Area
Day 2: Chazhi Ancient Village → Peach Blossom Pool Scenic Area

🏞️ What to see?
1⃣ Mount Jingting: Li Bai's favorite fairyland, with natural scenery as beautiful as a painting. The mountain paths are quiet and serene. Each step cleanses your soul, and walking here helps you forget the chaos of the world.

2⃣ Peach Blossom Pool: Famous for the line "The water of Peach Blossom Pool is a thousand feet deep." The lake water is emerald green like beautiful jade. Taking a boat ride feels like entering a fairyland painting, experiencing pure beauty.

3⃣ Chazhi Ancient Village: A vivid display of Ming and Qing dynasty architecture. Walking through the ancient alleys, every brick and tile tells stories of the past. There's also authentic local food waiting for you to taste, bringing a dual enjoyment of flavor and history.

4️⃣ Xuan Paper Museum: Explore the thousand-year mystery of Xuan paper, from its history to craftsmanship, from types to uses, and fully appreciate the unique charm of this traditional Chinese handicraft.

5️⃣ If you have extra time, visit Longchuan Scenic Area: With beautiful mountains and waters, the Hu Family Ancestral Hall is a treasure of architectural art. Every brick and beam showcases profound historical and cultural heritage, leaving visitors in awe.

🍜 What to eat
1⃣ Jixi Taguo: Filled with rich stuffing, one bite brings complete satisfaction!
2⃣ Ningguo Baba: A delicious snack found on every street corner, affordable and memorable.
3⃣ Shuiyang Three Treasures: Duck feet wrap, duck wings, and Shuiyang dried tofu - a wonderful combination that's surprisingly delicious!

🏠 Where to stay
This time I chose Maolin Xiuzhu Guesthouse in Maolin Town, Jingxian County. It's like a paradise in the mountains, quiet and peaceful at night.
The service here is full of the simplicity and warmth of mountain people! It's perfect for families to stay for a few nights and enjoy the tranquil forest life.
