Because of the lyrics "Sky-blue waits for misty rain," my longing for Jingdezhen had already taken root. When I finally ventured into Jingdezhen, I was unexpectedly captivated by the exquisite Linglong porcelain❗
💡 "Turns out 'Blue and White Porcelain' isn't the pinnacle! This translucent porcelain is truly divine!"
【Accommodation Recommendation】
I stayed at the Pudi Manju Hotel, the closest to Taoxichuan✔️ Just a 15-minute walk to the cultural and creative district, and the best part? The room offers a stunning night view of Taoxichuan🌙 (PS: The front desk staff will give you a hand-drawn map!)
📍Day 1:
Woke up naturally and headed straight to 【Taoxichuan Cultural and Creative District】
▪️ Must-visit: The Saturday afternoon market (10:00-22:00)
▪️ Hidden gem: The Chimney Square at dusk has an amazing vibe, with outdoor movies every Friday night!
▪️ Foodie bonus: "Home-cooked Meals" in the district is a must-try—three bowls of rice with stir-fried pork and chili still won't be enough!
In the afternoon, moved on to 【Yubai Linglong National Porcelain Museum】
▪️ Hands-on experience: Remember to book the pottery wheel class in advance (79 RMB/person, the instructor is super patient!)
▪️ Fun fact: The second floor houses the world's most expensive Linglong porcelain tea set, breathtakingly beautiful when backlit.
📍Day 2:
Hired a car for a "Porcelain Treasure Hunt" (around 60 RMB for the ride)
▪️ Fuliang Ancient County Office: The only remaining fifth-grade county office, with a backyard piled high with porcelain fragments.
▪️ Yaoli Ancient Town: The real-life inspiration for Jay Chou's "Sky-blue waits for misty rain." Hunting for antique porcelain shards by the river is incredibly fun!
▪️ Tip: The alkaline water rice cakes at "Yaoli Inn" are among the top three in Jingdezhen.
Before bed, visited the Imperial Kiln Museum (free!)
▪️ Night view masterpiece: The arched red-brick architecture is photogenic from every angle.
▪️ Closes at 22:00, but the grounds are open 24/7—fewer people at night make it even more atmospheric.
【Pitfall Avoidance Guide】⚠️
1. Haggling at Taoxichuan market: Start by halving the price and pretend to walk away.
2. Sanbao Village is far! When taking a taxi, say "Sanbaopeng" instead of "Sanbao Village entrance."
3. For tea sets, look for the "Made in Jingdezhen" seal on the bottom.
4. Locals flock to the night food stalls on Zhejiang Road (recommend Xiaolechuan and Maomao).
Finally, showcasing my loot: A 20 RMB crackle-glazed teacup! Couldn't stop shopping😭
