Tropical Style Photo Guide

Here comes the 4-day Xishuangbanna travel guide! 🌟 This tropical rainforest paradise is perfect for a winter getaway, and after four days, you'll feel completely relaxed~✈️ The airport is about 8 kilometers from the city center, a 20-minute taxi ride, super convenient!

🌴 Recommended itinerary:
🔹Day 1:
Arrive in the morning and head straight to Gozhuang Xishuangjing (No. 99, Gozhuang Xishuangjing Scenic Area, Jinghong City), where you can see beautiful Dai-style architecture and the Great Golden Pagoda.
In the afternoon, visit Manting Park (No. 35 Manting Road, Jinghong City), entrance fee 40 RMB, last entry at 17:30.
At night, be sure to visit the Starlight Night Market (inside Gozhuang Xishuangjing), the variety of Dai snacks is irresistible.

🔹Day 2:
Spend a day at the Tropical Botanical Garden of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (Menglun Town), entrance fee 80 RMB, it’s recommended to take the electric cart (the park is huge!).
In the evening, check out the Riverside Night Market (along the Lancang River), which is more local than the Starlight Night Market.

🔹Day 3:
Visit Wild Elephant Valley (Mengyang Town) to watch the elephant show, entrance fee 60 RMB.
In the afternoon, explore the Primitive Forest Park (8 kilometers northeast of the city), to experience the tropical rainforest vibe.

🔹Day 4:
Visit the Dai Ethnic Garden (Ganlanba) to feel the Water Splashing Festival atmosphere.
Finally, buy some tropical fruits and souvenirs (Xishuangbanna Baiguohui is recommended).

🚗 Transportation tips:
It’s recommended to take Didi from the airport to the city center, about 30 RMB.
There are tourist shuttle buses between scenic spots, much cheaper than chartering a car.
Renting an electric scooter to explore Gozhuang is very convenient (50 RMB/day).

😋 Must-try foods:
Dai-style barbecue (any stall in Gozhuang is delicious).
Pineapple rice, lemongrass grilled fish.
Lao iced coffee (available at night markets).

⚠️ Tips:
Sunscreen and mosquito repellent are a must!
Bring a light jacket (big temperature difference between morning and night).
Choose accommodation near Gozhuang for convenience.
