Day 1 (Afternoon arrival & check-in & hotel exploration):
Afternoon: Drive to Jingyue Senhuxi Hotel
Check-in: Settle in and take a short rest.
🌟 Highlight: Check in and take photos at the Sky Garden! Choose to visit at sunset 🌇 (the light is softest and most atmospheric) or early the next morning (fewer people, fresh air). Wear a beautiful dress or vacation-style outfit and take plenty of photos. The hotel design is usually quite distinctive; besides the Sky Garden, public areas, lobby, corridors, etc., may also have great photo spots.
Dinner: The duck head flavor at "Let Duck Brain Fly" is very good. If you don’t eat duck head, there are shrimp and bullfrog options.
Day 2 (Rafting day!):
Breakfast: Enjoy breakfast at the hotel, or you can choose to have a local specialty breakfast nearby.
Core activity: Yuanyang Creek Rafting!
Time: It is strongly recommended to start rafting in the morning! The rafting usually begins releasing water at 10 or 11 AM (please be sure to confirm the exact time one day before or the morning of). There may be more people rafting in the afternoon, and the ending time might be limited. ✔️ Clothing & gear:
Clothes: Wear quick-dry clothes or swimwear as a base layer, with a sun-protective shirt or lightweight long sleeves on top (physical sun protection is most effective). Be sure to use sun protection! ☀☀☀
Waterproof phone pouch: A must! Test it in advance to ensure no leaks. This is essential if you want to take photos.
Waterproof bag/pouch: If you need to bring a small amount of change of clothes, towels, etc., you can pack them in a large waterproof bag and put it on the boat (but generally, it’s not recommended to bring too many valuables).
💦 Water scoops/water guns are part of the rafting fun! You can buy them at the scenic spot entrance or rafting start point, and they are not expensive.
